Taiwan's ETF market has reached a new milestone! The first passive multi-asset ETF in Taiwan - the "KGI US Top Balanced ETF" (Ticker: 00980T), issued by KGI Securities Investment Trust, has successfully got listed today (15th) on the Taipei Exchange (TPEx).

To celebrate the launch of Taiwan's first passive multi-asset ETF, the TPEx held a grand listing ceremony. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Ms. Chang Yi-Hsin, Representative of the Securities and Futures Bureau under the Financial Supervisory Commission; Mr. Albert Ding, Chairman of KGI Securities Investment Trust; Ms. Christy Chan, Head of Client Development, Asia Pacific, ICE Data Indices, LLC (ICE); as well as senior executives from several securities firms—all gathered to witness this historic moment together.

The TPEx has long been dedicated to promoting the development of the ETF market. Currently, there are 104 ETFs listed on the TPEx, with total assets under management reaching approximately NT$2.7 trillion. Looking ahead, the TPEx will continue to drive product innovation and optimize regulatory frameworks to further enhance the ETF ecosystem. In addition, it is foreseeable that more and more asset management companies will participate in issuing all kinds of ETFs, creating new opportunities for Taiwan's capital market and working together to realize the vision of making Taiwan a major asset management hub in Asia.
